Warnbro Veterinary Hospital wins AVA VBG Veterinary Business of the Year 2025

Last week, Dr Angus and Dr Katie Currie, owners of Warnbro Veterinary Hospital, travelled to the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) Veterinary Business Group (VBG) conference in Newcastle, NSW where they proudly received the award for Veterinary Business of the Year 2025. The award was presented by Ilse Nel (Hill's Pet Nutrition) and Janet Murray (VBG President) at the gala dinner. 

The award is presented to a business which shows outstanding performance in ten core pillars of a veterinary business: 1) meaning and value, 2) health and well-being, 3) equity, diversity and inclusion, 4) job design and demands, 5) growth and development, 6) reward and recognition, 7) proactive people processes, 8) collegiality and connection, 9) social and environmental responsibility and 10) professional standards and ethics.
